Senior AI-Native Full-Stack Engineer
> Ship full-stack features and the shared agentic infrastructure powering a real multi-tenant production system — live customers, not demoware — embedded directly with the team.
Most engineers are still bolting agents onto their workflow. At cliq.dev, agentic engineering is the workflow — we're senior PMs and engineers who've put in the time separating what actually works from what's just noise, and we ship it into real production systems with live customers. You'd own full-stack features and build the shared skills, subagents, and orchestrators the whole team runs on every day. If you're already AI-native and tired of toy demos and 70%-done prototypes, this is where you close the loop — on real code, alongside people who take the craft as seriously as you do.

What you'll do
- >Ship full-stack features across the product — Next.js/React frontend, Python backend, Postgres on AWS RDS — on a real multi-tenant production system serving live customers, not demoware.
- >Build and maintain shared agentic infrastructure: reusable Claude Code skills, subagents, hooks, and orchestrators the whole team uses every day.
- >Raise the bar on quality: linters, type safety, tests, CI and living documentation/specs.
- >Collaborate with the team directly on Slack and Linear.
- >Help us push the frontier of agentic engineering on a real production codebase: not toy demos — multi-tenant data, real customers, real SLAs.
Must-haves
- >Frontend: Next.js / React — 5+ years in production codebases.
- >Backend: Python — 5+ years, comfortable owning services end-to-end.
- >Database: Postgres / AWS RDS — 5+ years, including schema design, performance tuning, and migrations on live systems.
- >AI tooling, team-wide: 1+ years building and shipping shareable commands, skills, agents, and hooks that other engineers depend on — not just personal automations.
- >Claude Code or Codex as your daily driver (not occasional usage).
- >Agentic workflow fluency: subagents, worktree isolation, verification loops, memory systems, and orchestrators in real engineering work.
- >Multi-tenant SaaS: demonstrated experience building and supporting scalable, multi-tenant SaaS over multiple years — tenancy boundaries, data isolation, per-tenant config, performance under shared load.
- >Senior judgment: comfortable pushing back, asking for context before acting, and understanding the trade-offs when working with AI agents.
Nice-to-haves
- >Hands-on with at least one AI/agent SDK: Claude Agent SDK, OpenAI, LangGraph, CrewAI, or Vercel AI SDK.
- >Experience publishing or maintaining MCP servers.
- >CI/CD ownership: pipelines, deploy automation, rollback discipline.
- >AWS surface area beyond RDS: EC2, Cognito, App Runner.
- >Linear power user — issue hygiene, project structure, status discipline.
- >Evaluations, experiments, human reviews, feedback loops, and promotion gates via real metrics — not "feelings" — to measure and improve AI systems.
- >Tracing, observability, and the architecture needed to build resilient AI systems.
- >Prior consulting or embedded-engineer experience inside a customer team.
